Lil' Biography...

I'm just gonna kinda string a line of facts for ya, so you get a little picture into my world/experience/values/etc..... so when you read my posts you can get where I am coming from.....

31....married to an incredible man.....proudly Canadian.....small town girl......4 brothers, no sisters......have a personal faith relationship with God that is pivotal to every are of my life......allergic to mangoes (sadly)......
really enjoy the outdoors; hiking, x-country skiing, swimming, etc......No biological children.....endometriosis (medical condition) has been a 9+ year struggle in my life, but it's been a tool God has used to shape and teach me, so I am thankful for it...... but many kids are precious to me, and my hubby and I have been blessed to "unofficially adopt" a certain precious teen girl who needed a home 4 years ago now, and we love her like she was our own, and have sooo enjoyed sharing life with her, mentoring her in her faith, laughing lots, making memories, and being a fam......full-time missionary for Word of Life Fellowship Canada, have been on staff here 10 years, currently the Kitchen Manager; cooking for students of the 1 year Bible program we have here, as well as summer and winter campers, staff and interns.....It's sooo fantastic, I can't even tell you...... I am a bit of a tea fanatic; herbal, roobios, green, white, black.... all and any TEAS, warm cuppa goodness.......I like coffee too, BLACK, the only real way to drink coffee (in my opinion).......I like to make homemade greeting cards with stamps, and other medium..... I am passionate about helping young women grow to know God and walk intentionally with Him.....I am constantly amazed that the God who made this world would love me, and I sooo want to honor, obey and love Him with every breath, it's all a GIFT......I am a girl, therefore I like chocolate... RIGHT? Any girl out there that doesn't??...... We have a pet bird (cockatiel) named Clark, she was given to us, and a parrot fish.....I really like sushi, and trying ethnic foods......Fav band changes often, and I can't just pick one..... But today I'd say Casting Crowns and Laura Story...... Fav movie, again same story as the band...changes.... today's pick; "Christmas Lodge".....

Don't worry, not all my posts will be strands of randomness.  :)  Hope you've enjoyed a little vignette of what makes me me.
